Brief Summary of Event
The School of Management & Research, Dr. D.Y. Patil Dnyan Prasad University, recently
conducted a three-week Induction Program for MCA freshers, aimed at welcoming the new batch and
providing them with a holistic start to their academic journey.
The program was thoughtfully designed to balance technical learning, industry exposure, personal growth, and
recreational activities. Throughout the three weeks, students actively engaged in multiple dimensions of
learning and development.
- Industry Expert Sessions brought students face-to-face with experienced professionals who shared
real-world insights on the evolving IT landscape, current technologies, and future career opportunities.
- Technical Sessions provided hands-on learning in modern tools, programming, and innovations,
helping students strengthen their foundation in core areas of computer applications.

ensuring students are equipped with the right interpersonal skills required in the corporate world.
- Outdoor Management Training and Sports Activities added a refreshing balance by promoting
teamwork, resilience, physical fitness, and decision-making through experiential learning.
- A unique highlight of the program was the inclusion of Science-Fiction screenings and
discussions, inspiring creative and futuristic thinking, and a special session on AI
Implementation in Agrofarm, showcasing how technology and innovation are transforming agriculture.
- To support professional growth, Career Guidance sessions were conducted, helping students
identify the right learning paths, career directions, and opportunities available in the IT and management sectors.
The induction not only introduced students to the academic ecosystem but also nurtured their technical,
managerial, and interpersonal skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges of the IT
industry.
